Phifer Suntex is made from UV resistant Vinyl-coated polyester and is available in 80 or 90% solid fabrics (in several color choices) that can reduce heat gain by as much as 90% during the hours the sun is on your window. Ninety percent screening darkens a room more noticeably so we usually recommend the 80% percent unless you have a need for a darker space or less glare. Light colors offer more privacy during the daylight hours but darker colors offer the contrast that the window provided to your home before screening helping maintain the architectural appearance of your home.
